Marnie shares 80s synths-inspired new track “Electric Youth”

Singer of Ladytron‘s Helen Marnie aka Marnie shares new single “Electric Youth” taken from her sophomore album “Strange Words And Weird Wars” set to be released on June 2 via Disco Piñata.

Channeling 80’s synths with a touch of modern pop, the artist follows the path of her previously released track “Alphabel Block“. The album will comprise ten songs where she will explore modern pop in her own unique way. Playing with different genres, the album will be for sure one of the best you’ll listen to this summer. Written in Glasgow, after years living in London, the album will be inspired by life, love, politics and loss that will make you dance.

You can follow Marnie over Facebook, Twitter and Souncloud.
