Coming from Oxford, Mississippi singer-songwriter Kate Teague keeps on teasing the release of her debut album. Following up on “Low Life” and “Good To You“, her new song “Gilly” is a hopeful letter to a loved one in need of consolation and it comes in the shape of a tender and glimmering guitar ballad. About the track, she detailed:
[su_quote]A loved one of mine was going through a difficult time while living away from most of her friends/family. I wrote this in an effort to make sense of the pain she was experiencing, and to console her considering I couldn’t be there for her in person.[/su_quote]
