“I Carry Your Heart” is the first track off of The Ghost of Helags‘s upcoming EP due out April 2019.
Berlin-based Scandinavian duo The Ghost of Helags are back with a warmful and graceful track, just in time for holiday break and Sankta Lucia celebration. Recorded in a single take in an old music school in Uppsala, “I Carry Your Heart” sounds so pure, genuine and fragile, just like an ephemeral candle flame. In this lo-fi and intimate atmosphere, you can hear the noises and cracking sounds in the background, just like if you were there during the recording process. The track also features backing vocals from Danish singer Sidsel Marie Søholm. A luminous track that is all about respect, love and appreciation. Listen below.
