Following up on “Trouble”, Mexican-American artist Omar Apollo has dropped his second track of 2019. With this instant banger, the 21-year-old singer-songwriter channels the funk of Prince and the groove of D’Angelo. He also adds some uncanny and playful hooks that definitely bring the song to another level. “Ashamed” comes with a Jimmy Regular-directed video in which the artist is having fun with his friends.
