“Çöl” is taken from Hedonutopia‘s latest album Yakamoz Sandalı out on Dokuz Sekiz Müzik.
Following up on their singles “Bil Ki” and “Sev Beni,” Istanbul’s duo Hedonutopia has just shared an İ. Çağrı Aygün-directed video for their track “Çöl” (“desert” in English). As its title suggests is, the oneiric and arid track draws from oriental influences but also from some kind of medieval, mystical arrangements reminiscent of Cocteau Twins. Between light and shadow, the mysterious video is about finding your way when you’re lost in your own desert. Watch below.
