On Friday, The National will release thir seventh LP, ‘Sleep Well Beast‘, via 4AD. Here is the video of ‘The Day I Die’, the latest single taken from this highly anticipated album.
For almost 20 years, The National have been releasing outstanding albums and crafted a recognizable sound (the vocals of baritone Matt Berninger have definetely been an asset for the Cincinnati’s indie rock band).
On Friday, they will unveil “Sleep Well Beast” and ahead of the release of one of the most hyped albums of 2017, they offer us a new video for their latest single ‘The Day I Die’. As they probably wanted to focus on the music, the concept of the video, which is signed by directors Casey Reas and DP Graham MacIndoe, is quite simple and leaves the room for the track which already resonates like one of the band’s future classics. Watch it below.
