The Paul brothers (A.K. and Jai) and their associate Muz Azar recently founded the collective Paul.Institute. The idea behind this new project is to “invite new alliances with like-minded individuals to help explore, learn and share ideas in music and beyond – without forgetting a trademark sense of fun along the way.” Here is the first single released via this new project: the futuristic R&B and funky “Landcruisin'” by the multi-instrumentalist and producer A.K. Paul.
The track was written, produced, mixed and mastered by the artist himself. Moreover, he also played the vocals, guitar, bass guitar, the synthesisers and percussion alone. Basically, A.K. Paul could be a Prince of our modern times.[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/254737025″ params=”auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true” width=”100%” height=”450″ iframe=”true” /]
The artist was already known for his several productions for artists such as Big Boi, Jessie Ware, Emeli Sandé and Sam Smith. Some days ago, London-based sensation Nao also hinted on Instagram that the siblings were working on her debut album.

As a reminder, his brother Jai Paul got famous 4 years ago with “Jasmine (Demo)”, an electro-funky lo-fi gem which created a quite impressive buzz knowing that the artist was almost a complete stranger![soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/41479635″ params=”color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
