California singer, rapper and producer Anderson .Paak will release his sophomore LP under this name on January 15. “Malibu”, that will be released via Steel Wool, OBE, Art Club and EMPIRE, will feature the two first singles: “The Season/Carry Me” and “Am I Wrong”, but also the most recent one “Room In Here” which gives some room to the singer Sonyae Elise and the rapper The Game.

“Malibu” should be a real springboard for the artist who is already rising. He was notably pushed by Dr. Dre who invited him on six tracks of his last album “Compton“. It is thus quite naturally that Dr. Dre‘s protegé The Game has a verse on this new track.

“Room In Here”, which was produced by Like (a member of the collective Pacific Division), has a retro groove and starts with the sound of an old radio transistor. This is a romantic song where the artist easily switches between chant and light rap, talking about the excitement of a budding love.

“Baby there’s room in here
Just enough for two in here”

Are you sure that there is enough room for two?
