[su_dropcap style=”simple”]Y[/su_dropcap]ou maybe don’t know that you know her but yet, it could be… Anna Wise (or Anna The Wise, sometimes) is one-half of the indie experimental duo Sonnymoon and a regular collaborator of hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar. She was present on all his releases since “good kid, m.A.A.d city” in 2012. Now, the lady gives it a try in solo with a feminist anthem, elegantly titled “BitchSlut”, that will convince you after only one listening. And in order to better her odds, she released a provocative but justified video to go with it.
The video clip was self-directed and shot on an iPhone 6 by Patti Miller. Regarding the track, it is basically a stroke against reproaches that are always made to women. Whatever they do, they are judged and are called “bitches” or “sluts”.

The track will appear on Anna Wise‘s forthcoming solo EP. About the project, the artist says:
