Annie shares Richard X-produced eurodance bop “Dadaday”

“Dadaday” is taken from Annie‘s upcoming EP, Endless Vacation, due out October 16 on Pleasure Masters.

Norwegian multi-talented pop artist Annie is ready to unleash her 4-track EP Endless Vacation, which will follow up to her excellent The A&R EP. After the summery house pop of “Cara Mia“, she has now shared a brand new single, “Dadaday”, which was produced by Richard X (who already produced her previous EP and her hit “Chewing Gum”).

If you’re a fan of ATC and Ace Of Base, “Dadaday” is made for you. It’s a retro Eurodance bop which brings us back to the 90s with its bubblegum vocals and imposing bassline. By the way, Annie is wearing a swimsuit on the cassette-like artwork of the EP, reminding us of Italo disco star Sabrina. But despite its irresistible dance vibes, “Dadaday” is a sad song at core as she explained:

The Endless Vacation is a dream, but not necessarily a good one. The artwork represents that. Like, a perfect holiday which is actually a disaster. You’re spending time in a wonderful place but with someone who you don’t have anything to talk about with. But if you looked at the holiday photos everything would still look good on the surface. ‘Dadaday’ is a sad song from this holiday… like you are left alone in the hotel disco.
