Billie Marten - La Lune

Singer-songwriter and musician Billie Marten appeared on the BBC Sound of 2016 long list earlier this year. And I think we can say it: the journalists and trendsetters were right! Indeed, the young promising artist has proven that she deserved her nomination! One month after her single “Milk & Honey”, here the video of the B-Side’s track “La Lune”.

“La Lune” is a delicate song that notably comes back to the artist’s childhood thanks to a DIY video that features exclusive footages. It fits perfectly the nostalgic side of the track. As the artist with the velvet voice explains:

“La Lune is a nostalgic nod to a time last Summer where I really badly sunburnt my face, but also about instinctive feelings of being home, without the ‘heat’ of everything
