Oscar and Louis are our new daily diggers and every Monday, visit HighClouds to find out their discoveries of the week! There is something for every – good – taste here!

1. Nick Hakim – “Bet She Looks Like You”

Nick Hakim, native from Washington D. C, has released his LP “Green Twins” in May 2017. Young prodigy of soul, he offers us an air odyssey to escape a bit from everyday life. A lo-fi prod, some tracks even sound like psyche.

Prince Nick.

2. Chanksdaddy & Ragga – “Lost me”

The multi-faces Canadian Chanksdaddy offers a lot of sweet prods. The guy makes tracks every 2 days so you can go without moderation.

Thanks daddy.

3. Charlotte Dos Santos – “Red Clay”

Based in Brooklyn and originally from Norway, Charlotte Dos Santos began musical writing at the Berklee College Of Music. She just released her first album in 2017 on the label Fresh Select. Her influences come from jazz and soul and of course, she has has a well-typed voice. The project is part of a successful fusion of its aspirations.

Neo-Soul

4. Allmos – “Presque Vu”

Big track from Brooklyn beatmaker Allan Cole aka Allmos. It is part of the “Sound Effect vol. 1” tape, released last month on the Fresh Select label. Allan is also part of another project in a duo known as The Stuyvesants. They have dropped some big hip-hop and rap mixtapes for the last 8 years. Experience and technique for a format that listens all along.

5. Moise – “Wildflower”

The boy from St. Paul (Minnesota) is a passionate about rock and rnb and mix this influences to create his own type. Moise‘s music sounds pretty minimalist and works well. Moise drops his tracks from his bedroom with his buddy Wil Levison who plays guitar and drums.

6. Lovozero – “Krasota”

Religion and spirituality. Lovozero is the solo project of a russian UFO who made an album “Moroka” just a few months ago. She’s mixing electronic music and sacred songs. By the way, Lovozero is the name of a rural village in Nurmansk oblast (I guess no one cares…). Anastasia of his real name is signed on the label Full of Nothing. They define themselves as a label without expectations and creator of new dramatic music.

7. Puma Blue – “Want Me”

Jacob Allen, South East London, is Puma Blue<./em>. One of those neo-crooners who touch your heart with sound. It’s like an ice cream that melts in the sun. An EP 5 tracks, “Swum Baby”. Way too short.

Class.
