Crywolf – Windswept

After a career-defining “Cataclasm EP”, LA-based producer Crywolf is back with a new single “Windswept”, which will be on his forthcoming “Skeletons EP“.

Born Justin Phillips, Crywolf has been blending dance music, electronic, and rock elements for the last five years. Since 2013 that he got his first start, Phillips has always had the knack of reinventing himself at the right time. One of which was when he produced a split EP with Canadian electronic artist Ianborg in 2014 titled “Runaway”.

Speaking of “Windswept”, Crywolf explained:

Ever since I heard Bohemian Rhapsody as a kid, I’ve loved music that abandons typical verse/chorus structures in favor of movements – like the modern equivalent of a symphony.[…]It’s a really vulnerable song for me, and I second guessed my choice to put it out multiple times… but what is an artist without honesty? Feeling vulnerable is part of the craft I have chosen, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
