Melbourne’s synth-pop foursome Cut Copy just announced their fifth album ‘Haiku From Zero’ and shared the opening track as a new single. Listen to ‘Standing In The Middle Of The Field’ below.
Cut Copy started in 2001 in Melbourne as the solo project of Dan Whitford, a DJ and graphic designer. In 2017, the band is a quartet and they just announced their fifth album ‘Haiku From Zero’ for September. It will be the follow up to 2013’s ‘Free Your Mind’. The album was recorded in their hometown of Melbourne as well as in Copenhagen, Washington DC, New York, and Atlanta. It was co-produced by Ben Allen.
