DJ Houseplants shares bouncy and emotional lo-fi house cut “I Don’t Mind”

DJ Houseplants‘ new EP, Root Bound, is out now via clipp.art.

In between two mixes, Seattle-based DJ and producer DJ Houseplants spends his time studying botanics. That’s maybe where he found his moniker and the title of his brand new EP, Root Bound, out now on Melbourne-via-Sydney multidisciplinary label clipp.art (1-800 GIRLS, Park Hye Jin,…). A bouncy and emotional lo-fi house track with hypnotic guitar chords, the opening cut, “I Don’t Mind”, is assuredly a highlight of the record and of the best releases we’ve heard this year in this genre.
