Rotterdam-based female duo of singer Djoeke Boomsma and producer Aniek de Rooij, known as DOOXS, create music with icy electronics. An ethereal atmosphere can be felt throughout their debut 4-track EP “Under My Tongue.”
DOOXS‘ music is mysterious, deep, and dark. It is reminiscent of the work of Sevdaliza and 18+, two other acts we really love. Since sitting down together to write their single “Nude” in a one afternoon, the duo started gigging almost immediately, playing performances at the Eurosonic Noorderslag and Metropolis festivals earlier this year.
