Up and coming artist original from Honolulu, Hawaii, Eddie Gun recently released a Washed Out-produced track that is also titled “Washed Out”.
The track is born after Eddie Gun started to watch the TV series Portlandia whose opening theme “Feel it all around” is signed by American singer-songwriter and producer Washed Out. Gun, who is now based in Los Angeles, added his own vocals on the track to propose a new version that ditches original’s ambient atmosphere for some contemporary R&B-infused vocals. A good idea as Washed Out is notably known for his chillwave and hip-hop inspirations.
