Flowdan – Horror Show Style (video)

Grime is not something new! Marc Veira aka Flowdan is in a good position to know it as he is one of the first members of Roll Deep, the main English grime crew that was founded in 2002 by Wiley and that has featured (and still do it) major acts such as Dizzee Rascal and Skepta. Flowdan, whose career has spanned the best part of two decades, will release his new LP “Disaster Piece” on July 15 via Tru Thoughts. Watch the new video for the lead single “Horror Show Style” in this post!

“Horror Show Style” is a heavy grime banger! The East London MC’s distinctive voice and raw flow are more than convincing and perfectly fit the crazy bassline of the track! It was produced by Splurgeboys (Skepta, Tinie Tempah…).

Concerning the Paul Whisper-directed video, it is quite polished. It brings obviously some horrific visuals that are inspired by Canadian artist Rick Genest. You will also see machine guns and some sexy girls ready for war. The artist is notably known for some of his tracks, like “Flatline”, that directly target the system.

“For those of you that think grime’s made a comeback, I wanna tell you that Grime’s always been here. It didn’t just disappear for the last 15 years” – Flowdan

“Disaster Piece” will be the follow-up to 2009’s debut “Original Dan“. You can pre-order it here on iTunes and download “Horror Show Style” here.
