[su_dropcap style=”simple”]T[/su_dropcap]wo weeks ago, Australian producer Flume created the excitement with the release of a preview mini-mix of his upcoming LP “Skin”. Finally, things get concrete with an official single that was premiered yesterday by Annie Mac. “Never Be Like”, his collaboration with Kai, is simply stunning and majestuous.
Recently, the artist talked to the press about the song: “Kai and I were sending ideas back and forth online, then met up in NYC and went into the studio. We laid down some chords and started an idea but weren’t feeling inspired. So we went out into the night for a few hours and when we returned, it all started to come together.”
The song is like flowers dropping the snow, a warmful blooming in these cold times.

We don’t have a proper release date for the album yet. It should be released later this year via Mom+Pop/Transgressive. While waiting, you can listen to the preview here.
