Ha Vay‘s new single, “PYT,” is out now.
Bay Area singer-songwriter-performer Maddy Toy and multi-instrumentist Elliott Jacobs, better known as Ha Vay, spoil us for Christmas with a more than welcome cover of Michael Jackson‘s “PYT”. The original track was produced by Quincy Jones and featured on Thriller. We don’t know if this new rendition will appear on their debut EP, The Psychedelic Joys of Your Vegetable Garden, which was crafted during the quarantine. But one thing is certain, this groovy number is a perfect introduction to their indie-pop sound, fairly described as “Cowgirl Disco”.
