Lo-fi and experimental R&B artist Tom Krell aka How to Dress Well recently teased a new LP: “Care”. This fourth opus will be the follow-up to 2014’s “What Is This Heart?” and is planned to be released on September 23 via Weird World and Domino. Going with this announcement, the Chicago-born artist also shared a Ben Tricklebank-directed ode-to-love video for the breakup single “Lost Youth / Lost You”. A beautiful slightly-NSFW version of the video is also available.

How To Dress Well is an amazing and sincere artist that we are following since his debut LP “Love Remains” back in 2010. The music of the artist is always so authentic and generous and we highly recommend you to attend one of his concerts, especially if he plays in a small venue. On “Lost youth / Lost You”, the artist embraces pop music and deliver a heady tune that notably features a remarkable guitar solo. The album “Care” will feature co-production from Dre Skull, CFCF, and Kara-Lis Coverdale. But the most famous producer on this new project is obviously 3-times grammy awarded Jack Antonoff, who has worked with Fun., Bleachers, and Steel Train. He also co-wrote and co-produced three songs on Taylor Swift‘s last album “1989”. That could explain this pop move.

Concerning the Ben Tricklebank-directed video, it features naked people, including the singer, dancing in a purple room on a choreography signed by Jos McKain. The rendition is kaleidoscopic, sensual and beautiful. The bodies are merging one with each other and the video is simply an ode to Love.

With the NSFW video of “Lost Youth / Lost you” by How To Dress Well, we’re even more in love with the artist!
