[PREMIERE] IMASKI – Sisters (track+video)

Peter Kirn Imaski Sisters Establishment Records

Discover Imaski, the new project headed by audiovisual and experimental artist Peter Kirn, who is also, by the way, the other half of live techno duo NERKKIRN. The self-titled EP will be released on Tuesday via Establishment Records. Here is the exclusive premiere of the hypnotic opening track: “Sisters”, whose vocals are signed by Laura Helm. You can also watch the exclusive polished video for the track!

Imaski‘s “Sisters” sounds like a futuristic mermaid’s call that would try to hypnotize you with a trippy and bassy instrumental. Can you resist?

ESTABLISHMENT RECORDINGS debuts as the new Internetsavvy label from CDM (createdigitalmusic.com). The label of Peter Kirn is a platform that swerves around the current tropes of releases in the current oversaturated landscape. Instead, the project looks to expose new talent from unexpected corners, orchestrating postalbum releases that look to transmedia involvement of visual and design sources and collaborations. You can follow this new label on Facebook.

As Peter Kirn is a visual artist, it is logical that IMASKI was delivered with a developed visual side. The release of the EP will be made in collaboration with Wroclaw-based photo artist and filmmaker AnnaMaria Olech. The artist directed two videos for the IMASKI’s 5-track self-titled EP. In exclusivity, you can watch the conceptual and minimalist video that goes with “Sisters”. The stylised visuals are perfectly fitting the track and it actually gets even more fascinating. Enjoy!
