Kalon Rae – The Day That I Was Killed

Kalon Rae

After working and collaborating with sartists such as Rita Ora, Paloma Faith and Coldplay it is time for Kalon Rae to break free with his own atmospheric ballads. The student is ready to surpass his teachers (not too difficult when the teachers are Coldplay). “The Day That I was Killed” is the debut EP from Kalon Rae and it is a humble and moving collection of tracks.

Kalon Rae has an angelic voice which he balances on top of orchestral music to create spiritual melodies.

His EP was released back in May and it has been steadily gaining interest as his music continues to pleasure eardrums. Some of the tracks, such as “Talking To The Moon” and “The Day That I was Killed” have a cinematic and dramatic quality to them which give them an almost theatrical feel. All of his songs are packed full of emotion and passion and contain storytelling lyrics.
