Kate Teague sings about unrequited love in heartbreaking "In Our Element"

Kate Teague‘s debut full-length album is due out later this year on Muscle Beach Records.

Alabama-born, Mississippi-based singer-songwriter Kate Teague has unveiled her first track of 2019. In line with her previous offerings, “In Our Element” is a wandering ballad with bittersweet feelings. Rooted in the southern part of the United States, her heartbreaking new song deals with unrequited love and miscommunication. In her own words:

I wrote this song in response to completely misinterpreting someone’s body language at a series of parties. I began falling in love with the idea that someone was falling in love with me, but I ultimately realized it was all in my head.
