Ambient folk project Over The Trees recently released their debut album ‘From The Sidewalk’. It features “Come Here” as closing track; a single that has been played live as a tremendous finale for a couple of years and has given the audience some sore jaws.
Hailing from Oslo, Over The Trees recorded their freshly released debut album in their own bedrooms and living rooms. They also experimented in the local church and an empty parking garage in order to surround singer and songwriter Eivind Frustøl’s voice with the perfect amount of organic reverb. The final rendition is located somewhere in between dream-pop, ambient folk and bedroom alternative music; a zone that we can’t exactly label and where we take pleasure to lose our path.
