As it turned out, a grueling 48-hour studio session together brought the trio of Pell and Louis The Child together for a new side project Pellican Child. Although they produced a handful of songs during the said session, “Turn Me Down” will be the first commercial fruit of this union.
“Turn Me Down” is very relaxing and soothing instrumental by Louis The Child perfectly dovetails with Pell’s energetic and fire-lit rhymes and vocals. The track is a succession of changing rhythms that all feed the dynamic groove of it. The three artists will share a six-track EP early 2017.
Pellican Child has performed their new song at two sold out shows in their name at the end of November. The group also made their debut at The Fonda in Los Angeles. They will be ready to kick on from here and will be hopeful the EP gives them lots of traction.
