Melis‘ self-released new EP, Undercurrent, is out today.
Originally from Prague with roots in Istanbul, singer-songwriter Melis is now living in Berlin where she has been working on the follow up of her 2017’s debut EP Parallels. Produced by Henry Green, her new single “Falling Into Place” is arguably one of the highlights of Undercurrent, as the artist embraces here a sparser, dreamier style. Driven by delicate yet uplifting programmed drums, the ethereal track recalls acts like Kllo to mind. As usual, Melis doesn’t disappoint with her haunting vocals but this sounds pretty obvious, doesn’t it?
