Bristolians Sam Shotaka and Tom Wheeler are Paragon. ‘Tuff’ is their first release together it will be tough to top. It is a wicked medley of house music, drum and bass, garage and grime which comes together to create a ferocious, relentless banger!
The duo comprised the beat in the studio within the confines of the creative musical hub that is Bristol. Later, after some digging around old vinyls, they found their vocal inspiration. An acapella from a firm favorite was added, tinkered and polished and then ‘Tuff’ was ready for us. Not sure we were ready for ‘Tuff’. It has already made it’s way out of Bristol and onto the scene with backings many including Toddla T on Radio 1.
With Tuff, Bristol-based duo Paragon looks to have started their movement in the perfect manner and let it long continue!
