Pusha T - M.F.T.R. (feat. The-Dream)

Pusha T freshly released his second album solo “Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude” via GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. Some days ago, he unveiled a video for the Timbaland-produced track “Untouchable“. Now, there is a second video clip, featuring The-Dream, for the new single “M.F.T.R.”.

In the Kid Art-directed video, Pusha T, who formed with his brother during almost 20 years the hip-hop duo Clipse, and RNB singer The-Dream perform in a church. They rap about the people that are more famous than rich (M.F.T.R.) and that fake their life on social media like Instagram. It also another attack against Cash Money‘s team, including Lil Wayne and Drake among the others.

Here is an interview that the rapper made for Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where he explains more about the song. The track was, by the way, produced by Boi-1da and Frank Dukes, but also features additional production from The-Dream and Hudson Mohawke.
