Enough about Russ – this track “DiMaggio” lures you in with a jazzy, Pete Rock-esque vibe with the production, but then subtly (or not-so-subtly) slaps you with his raw storytelling skills about rising through the hip-hop ranks – and rise he has – over the past year, he’s amassed a whopping 140k followers on Soundcloud.
