SEVDALIZA shares new track and video “Hear My Pain Heal”

Iranian-born Dutch artist Sevdaliza has just shared visuals for “Hear My Pain Heal”, a track that appears on the re-release of her debut LP “ISON”.

Earlier this year, Sevdaliza was finally unveiling her long-awaited debut album “ISON” after a long series of EPs and amazing singles. Yesterday, the creative artist re-released her project and there’s a new track to discover: “Hear My Pain Heal”. It is another hypnotic, intense, and dark mix of soul and trip-hop music and it comes with an ambitious Ian Pons Jewell-directed video.

Sevdaliza and Ian Pons Jewell detailed to The Fader, where the video was premiered:

It’s difficult to explain ‘Hear My Pain Heal’ in terms of its narrative, as it came about as a hallucinatory or dreamlike experience. Sevdaliza mourning at these large bare feet, crying for her lost ones, his head covered by the shadows from the tablecloth. A strange synchronous relationship between the director Ian Pons Jewell and Sevdaliza resulted in ‘Hear My Pain Heal.’
