SOPHIE‘s debut single “Nothing More to Say / Eeehhh” is out on Glaswegian label Huntleys + Palmers.
We don’t know a lot about up and coming producer SOPHIE (real name Samuel Long) but his debut EP already gathered massive support from the likes of Actress, Tensnake and Jackmaster. Combining androgyn, extremely pitched vocals and hyperactive bass, “Nothing More to Say” recalls both retro house and futuristic pop to mind. About this first single, SOPHIE tells us “I try to make music which is fun to dance to—that should be the loudest voice talking.” And he has nothing more to say, so listen below.
