St. Ranger - Dream Is Alive

Shawn Harris, the guy who was the frontman naughties punk band The MatShaches, garage rockers Fortress Social Club, and half of the indie-pop duo Maniac, has now a solo project. Indeed, you can now call him St. Ranger, and here is new single “Dream Is Alive.”

St. Ranger‘s “Dream Is Alive” was written for the documentary “Going Further”

His new single “Dream Is Alive”, which was released earlier this month, was written for the documentary “Going Further” which premiered in Summer 2016 at the Maui Film Fest and the San Francisco DocFest. The track is the follow-up to his debut album “Leaves L.A.” which was recorded in caves, canyons, and studios alike, around America, with Harris producing from the ’74 Airstream trailer in which he lives with his dog and wife.

Recently, St. Ranger made a DIY “Song Exploder” to detail the creative process of this new track, made along with collaborators Ben Young and Rob Humphreys.
