[su_dropcap style=”simple”]B[/su_dropcap]ack in December, we were presenting you Kamaiyah, a young rapper from Oakland, who caught us by surprise with her CT Beats-produced track “How Does It Feel“. The artist, who belongs to the BIG MONEY GANG, seems to be quite generous as she recently shared a whole tape for free. This project, whose title is “A Good Night In The Ghetto”, notably features the song “Out The Bottle”, another catchy tune she made in collaboration with Zay (or Zay’M).

“Out The Bottle” is not really a new track from the artist. It was released last year and is actually one of her breakout singles. It is pure fun and celebrates, in a way, the joys of alcohol but also, like the whole tape, that it is normal to sometimes drop the pressure. As the artist confessed to The FADER:

[su_quote]I wanted to make a soundtrack for the average 18-25 year old thriving, living and having a good time,” […] A Good Night in the Ghetto is a fun time with no drama and no one being hurt. That’s what I want to promote. l want to promote living but also make it known that it’s OK to have problems. It’s not what you go through it’s how you get through it. This is the soundtrack of how to get through it.”[/su_quote]
