Third Floor, aka Aaron Bannie, has been through quite the physically and emotionally taxing year after having surgery to treat an Autoimmune Disorder. They say that listening to and creating music can be one of the best kinds of mental therapy, and that seems to be the case for this rising artist.

Third Floor paints us a picture of what the past year probably felt like for him. The song is introduced with warm chords topped by Deutsch Duke’s somber vocals, soon escalated by a more upbeat chorus which sends the listener into a forcedly head-bobbing state.

I applaud Third Floor’s use of dynamics in the single; not many artists can toggle between different emotions so fluidly but Bannie seems to hit the nail on the head.
