Baltimore avant-garde rapper Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, better known as JPEGMAFIA or Peggy, has just unveiled a video for “Free The Frail”, a highlight from his recent album All My Heroes Are Cornballs. The track also features Montreal’s singer-songwriter Helena Deland. Smoother in terms of both sounds and lyrics (“I’m not no alpha male, I’m Carly Rae, you Braden Walker (Damn),” he raps), the vulnerable track also comes with a short statement from the artist: “wasn’t going to put this on the album. but i’m happy i did. i hope this song helps u and i love u.” Watch the Andrew Mcglennon-directed visuals below.

After having collaborated with Channel Tres for “Black Moses” and released his single “The Who“, Baltimore’s experimental rap artist JPEGMAFIA is back with a new offering, “Jesus Forgive Me, I’m A Thot”. The self-produced and satirical track comes with Andrew McGlennon-directed visuals and a short statement: “THE DISSAPOINTMENT CUMS SOON”. We don’t really know what to expect with Peggy, but we’re sure there’s something on the way and we’re pretty excited to discover what it is. In the meantime, watch his new video below.
