Peckhamers Aviram Barath and Robin Paul Braum are the founders of label Squareglass and the two creative minds behind house project Athlete Whippet. After their 2019 EP Touch, which was made in collaboration with Metronomy’s Olugbenga, they’re readying their new project, Your Love Is Lifting Me.

“These are strange times we’ve found ourselves in,” they explained about the context of this release. “Lots of people around us are losing their jobs and feeling lonely. One thing that we’ve really felt developing is a greater sense of solidarity and compassion. It’s a beautiful thing to witness in such a difficult time. That high vibration that rises out of the low is a feeling that for us carries through this EP. Both lyrically and musically.”
