Artistic genius Arca and his long-time visual collaborator Jesse Kanda recently headlined a Boiler Room session at the London Roundhouse. A 24-minute long video of their show was then published and as expected it’s breathtaking. Arca‘s entrance features a strange track made of gun shots and whiplash sounds. The Venezuelan producer offered a mystical, bold and intriguing show like a forward-thinking guru in the middle of a fetish temple. The genre-bending and aesthetic explorator went obviously too far for Boiler Room and Youtube: the non-edited full performance was notably featuring fist fucking images in its backdrops.

Arca‘s self-titled latest album was released last year via XL Recordings and was featured in our list Best Albums of 2017.

The two artists behind S4U, Rosita Bonita and Prinz George, recently caught our attention with a progressive and original approach of R&B. Following up to the excellent track “Too Much“, they recently premiered a new single and video, “Friends”, via NTS Radio. As you can guess it from its title, S4U’s “Friends’ is a celebration of friendships and is dedicated to all the people who bring you support. About this new release, they detailed:

[su_quote]From school halls to studios to Tottenham chicken shops to afterparties to preparties to backstage to on stage from sunset to sunrise, Friends is our new visual documenting ourselves and our incredibly talented and beautiful group of friends. Watch out for the snakes.[/su_quote]

The video, which was directed by Shane Connolly, features the two members of S4U and some of their real friends. S4U‘s single “Friends” is now out via ENDLESSLOVESHOW.

Besides this new release, S4U also played a Boiler Room session in London on September 5. They were sharing the stage with Princess Nokia, Born & Bread and Manara. Watch the video of their performance below.
