Los Angeles singer-songwriter Griffith James recently announced the release of his debut album, produced by Tennis. Acting as the second single, “Comfortably High” was written in the wake of his divorce, hence the stylish accompanying video, courtesy of Charlotte Ercoli aka Charles, which could compete for the best drama picture at the Sundance Festival. Musically, the laidback dandy pop arrangements – and the quite addictive melody – are in total contrast with the overall chaos. It’s not always easy to pull your shit together.
