After “Crazy Together” and “Die Young,” London-based singer-songwriter Kate Lomas unveils the third single off her upcoming new EP, “Radioactive”. The dreamy, disco-tinged track was produced by Kate and her long term collaborator Guy Britton. Described as “a yearning to relive your youth all over again,” the uplifting cut should cheer up and speak to all the young people who are now stuck at home. It’s a strange time to be a young human being, isn’t it?

“‘Radioactive’ is about feeling let down and isolated by society and coming to terms with life getting harder as you transition to adulthood,” stated Kate. “Everything going on in society has really cast a dark shadow over us and I hope Radioactive can help lift people up. I want the track to give people the energy and the comfort that comes from connecting together”.

London multi-talented artist Kate Lomas has just returned with “Hazy,” a bedroom track that encapsulates our mood during these weird – and forced – times at home. Produced and written by Kate and her regular collaborator Guy Britton, the track is a dreamy rumination, just like when you’re brain is not entertained anymore by the memes and has nothing else to do than thinking over and over again. “I’ve been going crazy in my little lonely world,” she sings. So relatable, isn’t it?

“I’ve been sat on the song for a long time but there never really felt like a ‘right’ time to put it out,” says Kate. “Hazy has always been about being trapped inside with your own thoughts – that feeling when your mind just feels foggy and you can’t get out. With everything going on in the world right now, it seemed like the perfect time to share it and hopefully people can relate.”
