LIZ‘s new single, “BTR 2GTHR”, is out now on Moving Castle.

Following up on her Slayyyter-assisted single “Diamond In The Sky”, future pop artist LIZ is back with a brand new track, “BTR 2GTHR”, which channels the 90s euro-pop of artists such as Gigi D’Agostino and Alice Deejay. A pulsative yet melancholic bop about breaking up, the track was co-written by Kim Petras. About this collaboration, LIZ explained:

[su_quote]Kim and I were listening to a lot of euro pop together one night including a bunch of German DJ’s she grew up on. We got pumped to write, so we set up a session which basically become a two-day tequila dance party at the studio. The beginning of Scooter’s ‘Nessaja’ was the main inspiration for the vibe of the track, and then we added in a more modern urban section to break the beat up the beat. I’m very proud of our emo-ravey love child, ‘BTR 2GTHR.’ [/su_quote]

LIZ‘s new video is out and it was worth the wait.

Hyper pop artist LIZ has finally shared the video for her latest single “Super Duper Nova” and as expected it propulses us into the stars. In the colourful James Orlando-directed visuals, she jumps from a role to another: she drives a rocket with a joystick, performs for an excited crowd in the middle of a space station before eventually getting cloned. As the Los Angeles-based artist detailed on PAPER, where the video was premiered, this is the beginning of a new era where her visual narrative will take more place than ever.

After the release of her surprising mixtape “Cross Your Heart” in 2016, LIZ surprises us again with two new tracks “Queen of Me” and “Could U Love Me”.

We are always expecting of her to release new music but somehow, she always manages to give us the unexpected. After exploring many sides of her musical skills, the pop star gives us in her new music something that we already have seen but it digs deeper into her personality. Dealing with being vulnerable and honest, we are getting to know her more. About the release of the two songs as whole, LIZ explained:

[su_quote]”Could U Love Me” is a vulnerable love song, and on the opposite side of the spectrum from “Queen of Me”. I wanted to pair these songs together because they express different sides and colors of who I am as a person and as an artist. You can be sexy and fierce, while also being vulnerable and honest.[/su_quote]

One year after the release of her debut track “Just Like You” via Diplo‘s Mad Decent Records, Elizabeth Abrams, better known as LIZ, is back with the pop hit we were craving for. Debuted in a commercial for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and played in Scream, an MTV TV show based on the famous series of scary movies, “When I Rule The World” is a bubblegum pop anthem which features forward-thinking and glittering production, courtesy of PC Music‘s rising collaborator Sophie. LIZ has been cutting her teeth in the industry for over a decade and this futuristic banger should enable her to access the status of pop star that she deserves. Watch the stunning Justin Francis-directed visuals below.
