We are totally speculating but it looks like Oklou has a project on the way (or not). After the bewitching “Forever” last year and a duo with Flavien Berger on “Toyota,” Marylou Mayniel already drops a new track, “entertnmnt,” co-written with Mura Masa. “I’ve been so freaking lucky to meet Mura Masa for this one, and for the first time let someone take care of the production entirely which I have no regrets about because it’s banging,” she explained on her Instagram. The vocals treatment and the synths are indeed simply hypnotic. The track comes with an Alexandra Green-directed video, which is reminiscent of Caroline Polachek’s recent live performance on Jimmy Kimmel.

As announced some days ago, Perfume Genius will release a remix EP of his amazing album “No Shape.” The 6-track project will feature new versions signed by mmph, Jam City, Laurel Halo and Blake Mills. Today, the artist is back with a King Princess‘ remix of “Run Me Through” which comes ahead a 6-track remix EP named “Reshaped.” Other remixers include mmph, Mura Masa, Jam City, Laurel Halo and Blake Mills who is already credited for the production of “No Shape.”

Despite the all the hype that is surrending her, Irish singer Bonzai remains a mystery. The London-based rising artist shared 3 EPs since her debut track ‘KBG‘ in 2015 and recently, she unveiled a new single, ‘I Feel Alright‘, which is also her poppiest song to date.

Bonzai is also known to be a close friend of Mura Masa. The trendy producer met Bonzai in 2014 (for his ‘Soundtrack to a Death EP’) and since then, they multiplied their collaborations. By the way, the singer is featured twice on Mura Masa‘s recent debut album. Then, it is not a surprise to see that there is another collaborative project out there. Mura Masa‘s production is totally in line with what the British electronic music producer is used to releasing. Lecks Lupin‘s vocals are a bit repetitive but they finally fit pretty well the short production that, by the way, seems to be dedicated “for you.” So if ‘you’ recognise yourself, don’t hesitate to manifest.

Following many couples around London, we can see their love growing as Spring is here and love is all around.

If you never heard of her before, Bonzai is a young artist that appeared on the internet 7 months ago via Mura Musa‘s label Anchor Point, releasing a strong debut single called “KBG“. After that she unleashed “Doses” on the internet, the first single taken from her debut EP. “Royah” was a memorable EP, in which Bonzai brought a lot of different influences. More recently, she was featured in Mura Masa‘s latest banger “What If I Go?“

“Sleepy Hungry” is a 9-tracks EP (YES 9) including noticable ones such as “Daniel Gets It Wrong”, “Lights On” and “Where Are U Now”. The whole EP is hysterical as we like it and it has big influences either in R&B, electronic genres such as acid and house.

You could even spot some similarities with The Chemical Brothers in “No Rest” where the climax hits and you are literally transported to the early 90’s when Belgian new beat, “Block Rockin’ Beats” by the English chemical duo and at some point even Prodigy with their hit “Smack My Bitch Up” were hitting hard in the clubs. It is incredible how Bonzai seems to have such a massive palette of different backgrounds creating an impressive melting-pot of sounds that somehow match together.

We are expecting from Bonzai to sing in a very sensual way because of her beautiful soulful voice but once again she kept her whole universe of 90’s electro and she probably even pushed it harder without losing her own spirit. There is no way that she is going to keep it in down-tempo because her tracks are made for dancing !

This EP is a mix between Rabit thanks to the production, Sophie thanks to way to give to electronic sounds a pop turn, Charli XCX thanks to its powerfulness and Arca for its weirdness and the way of pushing the boundaries farther … And as trash as we are, we obviously really really REALLY enjoy it but be prepared… don’t listen to it early in the morning… unless you are in an after party

We still don’t know for sure the release of his debut album, but this new song is rising our expectations even higher. The album will be out via Anchor Point Records
