Two years after Home For Now, Babeheaven are ready to unveil their second album later this month. On Sink Into Me, the London five-piece led by Nancy Andersen (lyrics and vocals) and Jamie Travis (instruments and co-production along with Simon Byrt) navigate the disengagement that comes after years of uncertainty, changing directions and disappointments as well as love and loss. Although the themes are melancholy, there’s also a notion of healing and moving on permeating the cosy record. This comforting feeling is palpable on their new single, “Heartbeat,” which also marks a more organic approach and a departure from their initial bedroom trip-hop signature.

Scottish producer Makeness is going to unveil his debut album in a few days but ahead of the release, he has just shared a new track, “Who Am I To Follow Love”, which features Babeheaven‘s vocalist Nancy Andersen. The artist, who builds bride between industrial soundscapes and experimental pop music, is definitely going the smooth way with this groovy single.

Makeness‘ debut LP will also featured the previously released singles “Stepping Out Of Sync” and “Day Old Death“. Pre-order it there.
