NINA's self-released new single, “Twink,” is out now.

Nina Cristante, best known as one-third of the London-based band bar italia, continues to forge her own path with her solo project, NINA. This year, she released Discordia, a brooding EP created in collaboration with Orazio Argentero, as well as the single and video “Till the Devil Gets Bored.” Now, she’s back with “Twink.”

Co-written with Argentero and produced alongside Elliot Heinrich, the track pairs tangled guitars with stripped-down lyrical honesty. She sings, “Cry yourself blind / But leave hating to me,” with an intensity that feels like an open wound. The lyrics chart a quiet devastation. Conversations, misunderstandings, and emotional residue, all rendered in her signature shadowy minimalism. We recently caught her live in Madrid, where she delivered a raw, theatrical performance, and that same energy pulses through “Twink.”

NINA's self-released new song, “Till The Devil Gets Bored,” is out now.

NINA is the solo project of Nina Cristante, the captivating voice behind the London-based post-punk trio bar italia. With her unique blend of lo-fi sounds and experimental touches, her music has a magnetic quality that draws you in. This is certainly true of her latest single, the moody and theatrical “Till The Devil Gets Bored.”

The consuming track carries a mysterious energy and creates an almost cinematic experience, like a dream you can’t quite place. Over hazy, reverb-drenched guitars, NINA’s vocals unfold like a slow-burning confession: “I carry a tray loaded with guilt / It’s hard to balance so I’m always scared / It bends my reason / Becomes a prison.” She’s also released a video she co-directed with Simon Mercer. Check it out below.
