The music of Sydney-born, Melbourne-based producer Rohan Newman, better known as Roland Tings, is inspired by the environment as it encapsulates “cool temperatures, low flying clouds, eucalyptus trees, rainforest paths, crashing surf, sandstone cliffs, open fires and thundering waterfalls”. Discovered by Prins Thomas back in 2012, the sound designer is now readying the release of his sophomore album, Salt Water.

Following up on the ethereal and bouncy first single “Hiding In The Bushes”, Tings has just unveiled a breezy new track. Loaded with twists and turns, “Always Rushing” combines floating layers and acid, hypnotic synths as well as ghostly vocals from Mild Minds. Listen below.
