With their last release “Paris”, the duo turn more dreamy than ever before.

The release of “EP1” comes as a surprise on a Halloween day, but that is not really a reason to be scared: their debut is nothing but a dream soundtrack for a winter time. Going from cold atmospheres, to moments that you will cherish under a blanket, Snow Culture follow their expectations and don’t disappoint us.

Taking this song from tops typical, melodramatic pop to something dark, smooth, sultry and completely different is such an incredible transformation. The duo has created an even better version of the original… yes let’s be honest, it’s better.

The Swedish duo, formed by producer Oskar Sikow and vocalist Ana Diaz, are a productive match when they work together. Their synth and ghostly tone it’s magical! These are bold words we are writing, but when something as beautiful as this has been created, it is only just, to be as honest as possible.

Released via Neon Gold Records, the new track continues the path given by the previous gem, in a place between catchy pop and dark electronic sounds. Before “The Box”, the duo was keeping some mystery around their music. Now however, they decided to give their identities: Ana Diaz and Oskar Sikow, previously known as “A” and “O”. As the duo starts to reveal themselves, their sound gets more assertive, exploring different effects such as echoes, loops and some straight-forward sombre beats. The excitement around their music is getting bigger and bigger over time and can’t wait what they have to offer in the next few months.

Coming from Stockholm and signed to Neon Gold Records, discover the dark pop of Snow Culture on their powerful debut single “No Sleep.” There’s also a video that goes with it.

The newcoming duo shares an anthemic debut track whose Scandinavian production will melt the snow. The sound of “No Sleep” reminds us of bands like Kate Boy or Karin Park, while keeping a uniqueness in its grim and ghostly atmosphere.

With a debut via Neon Gold, the home of Charli XCX, HAIM, Christine and the Queens, the chances are better than not that “No Sleep” will be the start of a whole snowball effect. We take the gamble and we’re already ready for a whole pop avalanche signed by Snow Culture.
