Creating a natural bridge between sweet pop with deep electronic sounds, the artist is leaving us with a taste of perfection. Opening with some basic vocals and a synth line, the track jumps into a bass-driven place where it is almost impossible not to dance. Her album “Clarity,” released on September 2, was created with vintage instruments she found in her possession thanks to her family. A guitar, a trumpet, a double bass and a 1930’s piano, that you can hear all over the album, specially in “Resonate.” Recorded in her own studio, with vintages microphones, iET shares her special love for a old way of doing music, giving to it a special touch of warmth.

The video is based on a live session when “Clarity” was released. About the track and the video, the artist told us:

“Resonate” is about how were you come from influences you in either a good or a bad way but eventually you have to take charge of your own life and take responsibility for yourself, even though you strongly feel the influence and legacy of others. It represents the struggle that comes with it. Yoko Ono Haveman, the beautiful dancer in this video, represents the visual interpretation of this state of mind and heart for me perfectly. The video is directed and choreographed by my friend and collaborator Davide Bellotta. When we performed “Resonate” live in the show I just knew that I wanted to share this moment with more people and we decided to make an official video for it.

To be honest, the track is a bit cheesy as it’s me basically declaring my admiration and love for someone special to me, through this song. I didn’t want to write a conventional pop song with a structured layout and a hook line. I just wanted to write how I honestly felt at the time about a situation I was in, and I feel like all music should come from honest and genuine feelings which I’m trying to emulate as an artist now. Which I guess lead to the makings of “May you Rest” I want people to relate to the track and hopefully feel something from it, that’s all I want to do as a singer/songwriter

Can you feel those smoky and edgy vibrating vocals with this electronic-psychedelic melody that create a soulful aura during the whole song? It will make you feel like you’re floating in the middle of nowhere in space, moving all around the galaxy. Where you only hear the song resonating.
