[su_dropcap style=”simple”]2[/su_dropcap]015 was quite a good year for the hip-hop/trap duo Rae Sremmurd. Indeed, one year ago, they were releasing their debut album “SremmLife”, which notably features their two platinum singles “No Flex Zone” and “No Type”. Here is a Mike Will Made It-produced new track that might be taken from their upcoming new LP “SremmLife 2”, but also from Mike Will Made It‘s new mixtape: “Ransom 2”.

Indeed, the two brothers are set to release the follow-up to their debut album in 2016, still via EarDrummers and Interscope. And as you can read it on Soundcloud the project is set to be released soon.

According to Mike Will Made It, his new mixtape, which will be the follow-up of 2014’s “Ransom”, should focus more on the artists themselves rather than on the producer. So, it could be possible that this track appears on both albums. A recent tweet of the hip-hop duo seems to validate this hypothesis.

The track, which was actually co-produced with Resource, is less party-oriented than usual and the heavy basses are clearly contributing to this “darker” tone.
