**“Venus Hour” is taken from Automatic‘s upcoming album Excess, out June 24 on Stones Throw.**

After the propulsive “New Beginning,” which is already featured in our Best Tracks of 2022 playlist, Los Angeles trio Automatic unveil a new taster from their upcoming sophomore album Excess. According to the band’s Izzy Glaudini, “Venus Hour” was originally written as an ode to “psycho-feminine energy”. It is “about whatever it is inside you that makes you want to do that thing that isn’t logical, or safe.” The catchy track also comes with a retro-inspired, Sylvie Lake-directed video. Recently, Gabriel Garzón-Montano has shared the self-produced single “Golden Wings”, the first offering from the artist since his amazing album “Jardin“. There’s now a Max Basch-directed video to go with it. As always, the photography is spruce and the artist is radiant in his amazing white outfit, showcasing some effective dance moves. Ringgo Ancheta, whose is known under the stage name of Mndsgn, just released a new single called “Use Ya Mnd (Twentyfourseven).” His album “Bodywash” is out today: stream it below!
