After decades of hits, Pet Shop Boys announced a few weeks ago their comeback with a new album “Super” due to be released on April 1st, via the band’s own label x2 (through Kobalt Label Services), and a new track “Inner Sanctum“. Then, they shared the incredibly catchy “The Pop Kids” and now are growing our expectations even bigger with “Happiness”, making us expect the best for the new album.

“Happiness” is a 90’s inspired track just as all the tunes they have shared for now, coming back to their roots. Being incredibly on their time, it is impressive how they have managed to stay so modern after so many years in the musical scene. “Super” is one of the most expected albums for this spring and we are going to keep you updated if there is another release.

With the announcement of the release of “Super”, their 13th album and a new track called “Inner Sanctum“, they showed to the world that music has no age. They have now shared a brand new track of this track called “The Pop Kids”, a hymn to any pop lover

This track is about remembering the 90’s when they were called the “Pop Kids” and how they were saying that “rock was overrated”. With a much 90’s house inspired vibe, they are back for good to the ears of this generation of pop kids. Produced by Stuart Price, “Super” is announcing a very promising live for the residency in London that will last for four days at the London Royal Opera House in July.

Pet Shop Boys announce the LP “Super”, share promotional single “Inner Sanctum”

After more than 3 decades of career, Brit synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys is going to release a new album. “Super”, that is set to be produced by Stuart Price, will be out on April 1st, via the band’s own label x2 (through Kobalt Label Services). It will be the follow-up to 2013’s LP “Electric”. In the wake of this announcement, they also unveil a first promotional single “Inner Sanctum”.

The band will promote this album during a four-date residency at London’s Royal Opera House in July.
